We provide various kinds of student support for in-space manufacturing research and deep space exploration. The details are in the below categories. CISM-R2 education objectives are to: (1) enhance UIC’s education capacity in NASA-related areas; and (2) increase the number of UIC students engaged in NASA-related fields, promoting the inclusion of underrepresented and low-income students. This aligns with NASA's 2023 Strategic Plan Objective 4.3, "Build the Next Generation of Explorers," and MIRO Objective 3, “Strengthen the participation of faculty, researchers, and students at MSIs in the research programs of NASA’s MDs”.
